You have dressed up neatly and tidily and ready to get rolling on your first date with her. Then, the phone rang and you pick it up. If it is above 3, the date is on. Of course, if she really has something on, then you can’t blame her. Life is unpredictable; you never know what will happen. At this stage, save your good pick up lines for the next girl.

It is more ideal to have the first date to be a simple tea meeting. The reasons are simple. It won’t cost you much and if she turn out to be a psycho killer, you can run away easier. As for the location, choose somewhere that is near you so if you are really interested in her, you can proceed on to the next stage. Also, make yourself busy on that day so if the girl really turns up not your cup of tea, you have other things to do.

Don’t be too punctual and be about 5 to 10min late. By showing up early for your date, you actually lose power to her as she knows that you are interested in her. Furthermore, besides amplifying attraction, the date is also for you to judge her. You have high standards and you will not accept girls that give you second class behaviour.

It is also very important to get your mindset right before the date. You need to get your frame of mind set to the friendship mode. This means that you are treating her like your best friend that you have know quite a while already. By doing so, you make her feel comfortable with you and make your date much more successful.
